As Hoss is learning this week. Shel is PISSED, and Hoss just can’t figure out why. Hopefully he will learn his mistake soon.
Hello FunBar crew.I don’t normally write to apologize for missing updates to Hospitality Included, but this time I must make the exception.
Unfortunately, I was hospitalized all this week and just returned home late Friday night. Fortunately, everything seems to be fine now, and Hospitality Included will return on Monday, November 28 with all new adventures and even some comedy (I hope),
So come back and join Hoss and the rest of the FunBar crew on Monday. We guarantee a good time will be had by all.
So, I just realized that today marks the first year anniversary of Hospitality Included (much to the chagrin of some webcomics readers — I have emails and comments to prove it). That’s right, the FunBar opened its doors one year ago today.
Back when I started this, I really had no idea what I was doing. I had a basic premise of following the life of a suburban nightclub lounge host. I had a basic idea of what the characters would look like… and that was it. This very first panel was just a representation of the what a nightclub lounge host’s job entails.
I like to think that Hospitality Included has evolved into something more. I also hope that some of you have found Hospitality Included somewhat entertaining.
So, what does the future hold for Hoss and the rest of the FunBar crew? I honestly don’t know yet. I just hope in continues to entertain, and evolve.
Thank you to all of you who have been following the antics of the FunBar crew. If it hadn’t been for your support, and your comments and suggestions, I don’t think I would have made it through year of delivering Hospitality Included.
So, join me in wishing the FunBar a Happy Birthday, and thanks again for letting Hoss into your homes.
Yes. It’s true. Hoss has returned to the FunBar. After a more than two month absence, he made his way back into the FunBar, and hopefully back into our hearts (I would put an LOL here, but I’m not sure if that’s appropriate. Besides I’ve never been a fan of using “LOL”).
So, where has Hoss been? Did he just walk off the job and not look back, then decided to return? Did he pull a mini-version of “Rip Van Winkle” and really over-slept? Did he run off with The Doctor and traveled through time and space? Okay, not likely, only because I would probably violate international copyright laws if I went with that storyline. Or, did he get abducted by aliens and get probed for over two months? This question will be answered in the next few days. So stay tuned.
The other big question is: Will The Boss let Hoss come back to work? Needless to say, The Boss wasn’t too thrilled with Hoss’ disappearance (and judging by some of the email I received, neither were many of you – thanks for that by the way). Well, come back tomorrow and that question will be answered. SPOILERS: Yes, The Boss will let Hoss come back. Let’s face it, if he didn’t there just wouldn’t be a comic strip. Well, yes there could be, but that would involve a lot of begging and Hoss is just not the “begging” type.
Although, that’s a possible storyline to explore in the future… hmmm.
But Hoss is back. Not necessarily bigger than ever… let’s face it, Hoss is pretty big as it is. But he’s not planning on going anywhere anytime soon. So, hopefully, you will enjoy the return, and if you do, please tell your friends about Hospitality Included.
Thanks again for your support,
